Using Complete Trip Data

December 7, 2022 from 11:00 am to 11:30 am

Session Description

Complete trip data is essential to understanding transportation network and multimodal system performance. With data now more readily available across all modes, there are opportunities to use complete trip data to understand individual trips from origin to destination – and beyond! This session will report on research conducted by FHWA on defining and acquiring complete trip data and discuss potential uses of the data for transportation planning, corridor studies, TSMO, performance management, and other applications.
