This presentation explains the Metropolitan Transportation Commission's (MTC) effort to improve its pavement management system. It seeks to first improve its data quality and consistency through a Data Quality Management Plan that will provide pavement engineers with adequate training and skills to more thoroughly analyze pavement conditions. It outlines the process for the certification of these engineers.
