A series of problem statements developed to identify pavement management research needs. Topics addressed include the need for updates of current technology and tools in use; for effective communication of pavement management goals and needs to promote and impact funding; for research into the broad role of pavement management, including areas such as pavement design, impact of increasing load limits on pavement performance, and asset management; and for research on new methodologies, technologies, and tools to be developed for pavement management.
