Vice President, Cambridge Systematics
John Kaliski is Vice President of Cambridge Systematics, Inc. and the firm’s national practice lead for transportation planning and management. John has worked with state, regional, and local transportation, economic development, and workforce development organizations to understand long-range trends and potential futures; define visions and goals; develop long-range and strategic plans; and align policies, plans, and investments to accomplish goals. He has led or been key staff for development of long-range transportation plans in more than 10 states, and currently is working with NCHRP and AASHTO to describe a vision for the next era of transportation in the United States. John grew up in New Hampshire, attended Dartmouth College, and credits following the first-in-the-nation presidential primary, serving as high school newspaper editor, and participating in community theatre as his preparation for a career in transportation planning.
