Biography
Carrieis responsible for MassDOT’s expanded $1.5B a year capital program that includes new Federal infrastructure funding and one of the largest investments in bridges in the Commonwealth’s history. Carrie has served in multiple roles at MassDOT starting as a Civil Engineer I out of college and worked her way up through Project Management. She most recently served as the District 6 Project Development Engineer before becoming Deputy Administrator/Chief Engineer. Additionally, Carrie has been a longtime member of MassDOT’s Underwater Bridge Inspection Team performing inspections throughout Massachusetts. Carrie is a licensed professional engineer, a certified bridge inspector, an active member of WTS International, and holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
