Biography
Alyssa Ryan, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Civil and Architectural and Mechanics Department and Assistant Director of the Center for Applied Transportation Sciences at the University of Arizona. Her research group focuses on leveraging advanced technologies and data analytics to address the safety, economic, and equity challenges faced by transportation agencies. Alyssa attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst for her bachelor, master, and doctoral degrees and was a visiting researcher at the Technical University of Munich during the height of the pandemic in 2020.
