Biography
Chimai Ngo is a Transportation Specialist at the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) Office of Safety in Washington, DC. In the Office of Safety, Chimai leads efforts promoting safety culture and the Safe System Approach through zero deaths initiatives such as Vision Zero. She also facilitates the integration of safety in the transportation planning process. She has worked with stakeholders from Tribes; Federal Land Management Agencies; State, regional, and local agencies; and non-profit organizations. Chimai holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the Catholic University of America and a master’s degree in Planning from the University of Virginia.
