Sondra Rosenberg
Planning Assistant Director, Nevada DOT
Biography
Sondra Rosenberg is the Assistant Director for Planning at the Nevada Department of Transportation. In that role, she oversees Multimodal Program Development, Road Data and Research, Traffic Safety Engineering, Performance Analysis, and NDOT’s Office of Innovation. She is actively involved in AASHTO committees on planning and policy. Sondra has spent her career at NDOT focusing on strategic partnerships across sectors and jurisdictions through statewide and multistate transportation planning and data-driven, performance-based processes for decision making. After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Sondra spent three years working at a National laboratory in the summer and as a children’s ski instructor in winter before going back to school for transportation.
